Dynamic Duo Swaps

Hello!

Today I am here to share my Dynamic Duo Card I made for our recent Card Swap within the Artfull Stampers (my wider network of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators).

A Card Swap is where X amount of people say they will participate, they then make the X amount of the same card based on the specified theme, and post of X-1 cards to the Card Swap organiser, who then returns one of each of the swaps to you (minus your own which you kept and didnt post), so you then have X amount of DIFFERENT cards for the same theme to inspire you and so you can inspire your customers with different ways to use various products!
(I hope I didn't loose you with the Algebra in there hehe)

So as I said above the theme for this Swap was a Dynamic Duo (which is a set of 2 colours which work well together and can be found on the Stampin' Up! Colour Coach Cards) - My Dynamic Duo was Pool Party and Island Indigo and I featured the Stamp Set 'Just Believe'.

Beaded Dragonfly

G'Day!

Yet another activity from our recent cruise... and I promise this is the last!

These are some Beaded Dragonflies we all made, they were a little challenging at the start, but I think once we all got the hang of it, they became quite easy :)

They also offered Beaded Gecko making, but we unfortunately missed that session because it was at lunch time so we were eatting and realised after lunch we'd missed it (but I am planning to Google the pattern and hope I can make some because they were super cute and would make great gifts!)

Ill be back soon with some Stampin' Up! Cards for you to admire, Im all out of cruise activities now haha.

Until next time,
Keep Smiling and Happy Creating!

Towel Animals!

Howdy!

Another post featuring something from my recent Cruise with my sisters....

Here are 2 Ooober Cute Towel Animals that our Room Steward, Arnold, made and left in our room after making our beds (best bit of the Cruise, not having to make a bed hahaha)

Here is the first one, an Elephant which we named 'Johnson' (as in Johnson and Friends, the ABC TV Show from the 90s we all grew up watching).  Isn't Johnson just the cutest little Elephant ever!

And here is 'George' the Monkey! (as in Curious George, another cartoon, more from today though I believe).

We were amazed at the skill put into these two amazing animal creations! We wanted to deconstruct them to learn how to make them, but after naming them we didnt have the heart to pull them apart!

Until next time,
Keep Smiling and Happy Creating!
